Description of the roles

President:

  • Leads the scientific research circle and ensures the organization’s objectives.
  • Oversees the planning and execution of all activities.
  • Acts as the primary liaison between the organization and external entities.
  • Provides strategic direction and leadership for the organization.
  • Represents the organization at university and external events.
  • Facilitates collaboration and teamwork among all members.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry professionals.

Vice President of Operations:

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the scientific research circle.
  • Coordinates with various teams to ensure smooth functioning of events and activities.
  • Coordinates with external vendors and service providers.
  • Organizes any necessary materials and resources for events and organizational activities.
  • Coordinates with facility management to ensure suitable venues for events and meetings, including any technical requirements.
  • Oversees the implementation of organizational policies and procedures.

Vice President of Communications:

  • Facilitates the day-to-day operations of the scientific research circle.
  • Handles internal and external communication for the organization.
  • Manages public relations and ensures effective communication with members and external stakeholders.
  • Develops and implements communication strategies to promote the organization’s activities.
  • Coordinates with media outlets and university publications for coverage of the organization’s events and achievements.

Secretary:

  • Responsible for documentation and record-keeping.
